Publish WordPress Document

Use the bundled CLI so submission, hashing, authentication, and status polling remain deterministic.

Configure

Require these environment variables:

WP_DOCUMENT_RELAY_URL=https://relay-public-url.example
WP_DOCUMENT_RELAY_TOKEN=<dedicated desktop token>

Never request or store the WordPress Receiver Token or translation-provider credentials. Those belong to Remote Receiver and relay.

Submit

Run:

node skills/publish-wp-document/scripts/publish-document.mjs submit "D:docsarticle.md" --wait

Default to draft unless the user explicitly requests direct publication. The CLI infers a Markdown title from the first # heading, otherwise from the filename. It computes a stable source key from the absolute path unless --source-key is supplied, and computes a revision hash from the document content.

Check status

Run:

node skills/publish-wp-document/scripts/publish-document.mjs status <job-id>

Report the final post status and URL. If a job fails, report the relay error without exposing tokens.

Supported input

• .md and .markdown: convert a conservative Markdown subset to HTML.
• .txt: convert paragraphs to escaped HTML.
• .html and .htm: submit existing HTML unchanged.

Do not claim DOCX support. Convert DOCX to one of the formats above only when a suitable document-conversion capability is available.
